Temanggung has a unique coffee bean processing. For example, natural processes. In this process, only the red coffee cherries we pick. The natural process is direct drying until the coffee cherries dry naturally and produce a heavy and complex taste.

DRY-HULLED PROCESS

Dry-hulled has the same process as a natural. However, in this process, we don’t only pick red coffee cherries, we can choose all the coffee cherries. Dry processed coffee is great if you want something sweeter in taste, and a heavy body. Often with notes of berries, fruits and even grapes depending on the roast.

WINE PROCESS

The process of wine or coffee that has gone through fermentation, has gone through a long drying process of about 30-60 days, depending on the weather. If the fermentation process is long, the coffee beans will release the taste and aroma of wine.

SEMI-WASHED PROCESS

For this method, we remove the outer skin of the cherries using a machine, then the coffee beans – still with the mucus still attached – then we do the storage process. After this period, we wash the mucus with water, before the coffee beans enter the drying stage.
